Louis Proyect: The Unrepentant Marxist

  1. I said pretty much from the beginning that what the imperialists were worried about wasn’t so much Assad but that the rebellion would succeed and not on imperialism’s terms. The Syrian rebellion was very much Islamic in nature right from the beginning, and Proyect has done everything in his power to argue that the actual revolutionaries are but tools of the Syrian government and that his Western looking imperialist puppets are the true revolutionaries. This Tumbleweed idiot is cut from the same cloth.

So imperialism started to push its puppets to the fore and wipe from history the people who actually opposed Assad with blood, sweat and tears. Imperialism wanted to support those elements who believe they were born to rule over other men, as other men have dangerous and barbaric ideas. So this was always a project to hijack a revolution and put it in safe hands.

The point is that this is Proyects position, Proyect takes the same stance as imperialism and for the same reasons.

So let us call Proyect a pro pro imperialist or one of its numerous left leaning sycophants.

Incidentally, given what imperialism has done to that region, I think simply putting a negative where imperialism puts a positive is, other things being equal, a perfectly sound and rational position to take and almost certainly the correct way to proceed.

It should also be noted that imperialism wanted, wants and will continue to want rid of Assad.

Don’t write shit like this again or the trapdoor opens up beneath you, I put too much effort into this blog to be insulted by utter strangers.
