An example of how a Putin fan understood the origins of WWII

WordPress has a list of all the url’s that link to my blog and I am in the habit of checking them out, including one that  that took me to a neo-Nazi website run by a piece of dirt named Mike King. In an rant against the Working Families Party, King linked to my blog: “The Working Families Party is a known Marxist entity – a detail which the writer fails to mention. (here)”

I am the aforementioned writer and the here in parentheses is a link to something I wrote that described the WFP as a wing of the Democratic Party despite their nominal independence.

Looking a bit more into King’s website, I found this on a page about the origins of WWII: “Jewish Red terrorists, their Polish government protectors, and their Globalist-Zionist masters have picked a fight with Germany!”

On his video page, he has a clip described as “ZIONIST-MARXISTS PROMOTE ANTI-WHITE VIOLENCE”.

But what really intrigued me was how this guy was a big Putin fan. On the video page, he has a clip of Putin laughing “in the Face of a Stupid Western Journalist!”

So gung-ho is he on Putin that he wrote an entire book titled “The Talented Mr. Putin: How the government media complex does not want you to know about the new Russia.” Sounds fascinating.

As it turns out Paul Craig Roberts reviewed the book:

There is an interesting book, a pamphlet (booklet) really, titled “The War Against Putin” by M.S. King available on Amazon.com. The book has 16 5-star reviews and one review accusing the book of being Kremlin propaganda.

The value of this publication is in showing how Washington operated against the Soviet Union and how Washington operates against Russia today. Readers will gain insight into the mendacity of the government in Washington and learn that the US and European media are propagandistic organizations that impose false stories on the minds of Americans and Europeans. Anyone who relies on the Western media lives inside The Matrix.

Interesting. Very interesting.

  1. The fourth estate is failing badly in the west. Taken straight out of Benitto mussolinis Lo Stato Corporato(The Corporate State.) Manual on modern Fascism. YESTERDAYS NEWS GETS WRAPPED IN TGODAYS fish.

  2. What does Putin have to do with this? This is far worse than the Alison Weir guilt by association, as it isn’t really association, not on Putin’s part anyway.

What is for sad is that we can probably earn more about US imperialist relations with Russia from this anti Semite fascist than we can from you!

  3. What does Putin have to do with this? Only the fact that he is cultivating ties with fascists all across Europe, most particularly Le Pen in France.

  4. I think Russia want to undermine the power of the EU (for obvious reasons). Putin doesn’t support fascism anymore than Obama did when he supported Ukrainian fascists in their revolt against the old elected leader. Sometimes international relations throw up these marriages of convenience. if you look at Russian policy recently they are embracing any groups who want to undermine the EU from far left to far right.

A number of Marxists are periodically invited to talk on RT for example.

I think this article is taking guilt by association to the extremes and also failing to provide adequate context. It might be called another example of your dumb propaganda.

PS I am personally no fan of Putin – as I know for people like you there are only 2 people in this world, those who love Putin and those who hate him!

  5. I didn’t say that Putin was a fascist only that he is building ties with them all across Europe. If you are okay with that, there’s not much I can add.

  6. Russia are building links with Syriza in Greece. But Putin is no leftist. Russia are simply following a (probably misguided) strategy of undermining the enemy at the gates by all means necessary.

The question for you is this:

You have often repeated the claim that relations between Russia and the empire and its allies are really all sweetness and light despite appearances (forgive the shorthand paraphrasing) and that while they talk of being in conflict, behind the scenes they are all very friendly.
You also claim that Putin is no fascists.
So if Putin is no fascist and Russia is on friendly terms with the empire and its allies why he is ‘building ties’ with some far right groups?

“if you are okay with that, there’s not much I can add.”

I am never OKAY when Marxists offer dumb propaganda.

  7. So if Putin is no fascist and Russia is on friendly terms with the empire and its allies why he is ‘building ties’ with some far right groups?

What I have written is somewhat different than what you describe. Tensions rise and fall between Russia and the West as a function of their stake in a conflict like Syria or Ukraine. In 2010 there were zero reports about a potential WWIII. Indeed, even now as NATO edges eastward, American oil companies continue to cut deals with Gazprom. This contradictory tendency can best be understood by reading Plekhanov’s “Dialectic and Logic”.
