  2. Interesting to compare her response to that of Ted Cruz. Notice that they both accuse Obama of increasing income inequality and legislating for the one percent and in the interests of Wall Street. Of course Cruz somehow forgets to recommend a 15 dollar minimum wage.

  3. For an outsider to the USA Obama’s smarmy promises he can’t deliver are pretty sleazy – especially as he once had control of both houses and now controls neither. But the idea that the US president in the most powerful nation in the world should put forward the idea of paid sick leave as a progressive *proposal* is just extraordinary – Australia (as well as other places of course) has had such things since the 1940s
