  1. Cute. So simple but such a good underlying point comrade. The old saying less is more is so true.

  2. If one is still talking about Occupy, it IS anarchist, the Black Bats being outliers like the Libertarians.

The alternative to anarchism, as far as the Occupy mainstream goes, is the left wing of Democratic Party (e.g. Chris Hedges).

Rahm Emanuel would find this funnier than you do.

  3. What are Black Bats?

  4. Do you know where was this photo taken? Could be anywhere, of course, but it looks a lot like it was taken in the post-industrial landscape of the East Bay, in Oakland, Berkeley or Emeryville.

  5. Black Bats: an improvised sobriquet for the battier boys in black.

Includes Dictionary Anarchists, for whom Webster’s definition of the word “Anarchist” is all ye need to know.

Excludes people like David Graeber, Noam Chomksy, or the IWW, who may be holding their handsaws by the blade but can tell them from hawks.

  8. This has to be said, though I would rather not be the one to say it.

Strictly speaking. the sentence “Spread Anarchy,” to which some Democrat has so glibly responded, actually isn’t a command. It’s an exhortation, like “Go Knicks!” So nobody is actually being ordered to do anything, and no contradiction is being exposed.
