Had a good conversation with Malik (Occupy the Hood). We both agreed stopping the eviction of a policeman and his family in Atlanta was a great idea; he even told me there was talk in the G.A. about marching in defense of NYPD pensions. He was like, “imagine the coverage if we march for their pensions and the cops pepper spray a PRO-COP demonstration!” Personally, I think going at the police in this way is a lot more revolutionary than simply deriding them as the enemy.

Forwarded to the people of color working group where this subject has come up. Notice how they used non-white cops.

Off topic:
Boxing legend Smokin Joe Frazier has passed away.
For you boxing fans.
I’m a 3rd cousin of boxing legend James Jackson Jeffries so boxing is in my genes.
RIP Joe.
